Payment reports

Payments → Reports (/dashboard/payments/reports) turns your payments into charts so you can see how much you are earning, when customers pay, and which hotspots, packages and locations bring in the most money.

The charts load one after another. A progress bar at the top shows Loading Payment Reports… and which report it is on. Each chart has a refresh button and shows when its data was last updated.

Chart What it tells you
Revenue Your revenue trend over the selected period, so you can see growth, dips and seasonal patterns.
Payment Times Analysis When during the day customers pay, broken down by week. Useful for planning promotions, maintenance windows and staff hours.
Revenue by Hotspot Which hotspot (router) earns the most.
Revenue by Package Which packages sell best by value.
Revenue by Location Revenue grouped by your router locations.

Use the period selector on a chart to change the time range.

Revenue by Hotspot can include a slice labelled Not used for a package yet. That is money customers have paid that is still sitting in their wallets. It belongs to the customers until they buy a package, and it can’t be withdrawn. See which customers hold it under Wallets → Loaded (Wallets).

  • Compare by location to see whether a new site is paying off.
  • Check payment times before running a promotion. An SMS offer sent just before your usual peak tends to work better than one sent at a quiet time.
  • A package with low revenue may be priced wrong or hard to find on the captive portal. Compare it with the top seller.
  • Charts are built from received payments. If a number looks wrong, check the individual payments under Payments → Received.
