Sign up and create your business
Getting into ISPMan takes a few short steps: create an account, verify your email and phone number, and then create your business. If a teammate has invited you, you join their business instead of creating one.
Create your account
Section titled “Create your account”Go to the sign-up page from ispman.tech (Sign Up), or open /access/signup directly.
You can sign up in two ways:
- With a provider: Sign Up With Google, X or Microsoft. Your name and email come from that account.
- With email and password: fill in the form.
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Enter your Name | Your own name, not the business name. |
| Enter Phone Number | Your mobile number in international format, for example +254712345678. A code is sent here later. |
| Enter E-Mail | Where your email verification code goes. |
| Enter Password / Repeat password | 8–24 characters. The form shows which rules (upper case, lower case, numbers, special characters) your password still needs. |
Click Create Account. The button says Please wait… for a moment while a quick security check runs in the background.
Verify your email and phone number
Section titled “Verify your email and phone number”After sign-up, the dashboard asks you to verify your contact details before anything else. You will see one screen at a time.
-
Email Verification. A 6-digit code is sent to your email address. Enter it and click Verify E-Mail. The code is valid for 30 minutes. If it hasn’t arrived, check your spam folder, then click Resend.
-
Phone verification. If you didn’t give a phone number at sign-up, enter one and click Submit. A 6-digit code is sent to your phone by SMS. Enter it and click Verify Phone Number. This code is also valid for 30 minutes.
Things to know about the phone step:
- A short security check must finish (you’ll see Security verification complete) before you can send or resend a code.
- After sending a code, you wait for a countdown before you can Resend.
- Typed the wrong number? Click Wrong number? and enter a new one.
- There is a limit on how many codes you can request. If you see Maximum verification attempts reached or a Temporarily blocked message, wait for the countdown or contact ISPMan support.
- If your phone number is from one country but you are connecting from another, you may see a Location Verification Notice. This can slow down approval while your account is checked.
Approval
Section titled “Approval”In most cases your account is approved automatically as soon as both your email and phone number are verified, and you go straight on to creating your business.
If your account needs a manual check, you’ll see Pending Approval: “Your account is currently under review.” You will get an email once you are approved. Click Check Status at any time to refresh. If it takes longer than expected, contact ISPMan support.
Create your business
Section titled “Create your business”Once you’re verified and approved, the dashboard shows the business setup form. A “business” in ISPMan is your ISP: its customers, routers, packages, money and team all belong to it.
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Business Name | The name of your ISP as customers will see it, for example Sunrise WiFi. |
| Business Address | Your town and street or building, or Online. |
| Business Email | Email for business communications and notifications. Switch on Use My Email to use your own. |
| Business Phone Number | Main contact number. Switch on Use My Phone Number to use your own. |
| Country of Operation | Where the business operates. Choosing a country also picks its usual currency. |
| Currency | The currency your packages are priced and billed in, for example KES. |
| Payments Wallets ID | A unique 3-character code for this business, letters and numbers only. |
Click Complete Setup. You land on the Home page of your new business.
About the Payments Wallets ID
Section titled “About the Payments Wallets ID”The Payments Wallets ID is a short code that identifies your business on payments. It appears in payment references and on your ISPMan invoice numbers (for example ISP-SRW-12), and it is what support will ask for. While you type your business name, ISPMan suggests codes that are still free under Available; click one to use it.
The code must be exactly three letters or numbers, must not already be taken, and can’t look like a currency code such as KES or USD.
Joining a business you were invited to
Section titled “Joining a business you were invited to”If someone invited you to their team, open the link in the invitation. You can sign in or sign up from that link. After you verify your email and phone, you’ll see who invited you and the role you’ll have. Click Accept Invite to join. You don’t need to create a business of your own.
If the invite link is no longer valid, ask the person who invited you to send a new one. See Team members and roles.
Create another business
Section titled “Create another business”You can run several businesses from one login, for example two ISPs in different towns.
- Open the right-hand menu by clicking your name or picture in the top bar.
- Under Your Businesses, click Create Business (or go to
/dashboard/create-business). - Fill in the same form as above, with a different Payments Wallets ID, and click Complete Setup.
To switch between businesses, open the same menu and click the business you want under Your Businesses. Use Search ISP… if you have many. You can also switch from Business memberships on your profile page.
Signing in later
Section titled “Signing in later”Go to /access/signin. You can sign in with Google, X or Microsoft, or with your email and password. Tick Remember me for 30 days on a computer you trust.
- Forgot your password? Click Forgot your password?.
- Prefer not to type a password? Click Sign in with magic link and ISPMan emails you a sign-in link. Magic links expire after 15 minutes.
